About The Author

 

Derrick Clemons is the founder and CEO of Everyday Lemons, a Christ-Centered social enterprise that offers life transforming programs and leadership coaching to emerging kingdom-minded social entrepreneurs.

A native of Austin, TX, Derrick came from humble beginnings. He has a passion to make a difference in the world. His love for Jesus has driven him to serve the church through a variety of ministry positions, church leadership roles, and community initiatives. 

Ordained as an associate pastor, volunteering in ministry and juggling a 9-5 job in finance, along with his responsibilities as husband and father, he found himself living paycheck to paycheck, burned out, and completely missing the ‘abundant life’ that Jesus promised believers. He was determined to find out how to thrive in his God-given purpose so that he could make a difference AND make a profit. 

Today, Derrick lives just outside of Austin with his wife and son, and is an author, coach, and consultant helping individuals who also find themselves chained in the ‘paycheck prison,’ partner with God to breakout, so that they too can experience purpose and prosperity as they pursue God’s call on their lives.
